A Day in the Life

You start your morning reviewing a new project assignment—one of several Building Automation initiatives rolling out nationwide. After coordinating with the engineering team, you head to a client site to bring HVAC equipment online, configuring controllers and verifying networked points. A midday call has you diagnosing an intermittent BAS alarm; by afternoon, you’re tuning control loops and documenting every configuration you update. Before you wrap, you coach on-site staff on best practices and plan a preventative maintenance check for the following week.

• Home base: Join our team in Jacksonville, FL.
• Nationwide projects: We have upcoming Building Automation projects across multiple states in the U.S.
• Location: To be advised based on project assignment.

What You’ll Do

• Install, configure, and service building automation systems supporting HVAC performance and energy efficiency.
• Troubleshoot BAS/HVAC controls issues and resolve complex system faults.
• Conduct system audits and preventative maintenance to keep operations running at peak levels.
• Partner with engineering and facility teams to implement energy-saving strategies.
• Provide hands-on technical support and practical training for site personnel.
• Maintain thorough documentation of service activities and system configurations.
• Stay current with emerging HVAC controls and BAS technologies.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree in HVAC, electronics, or a related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working with BAS and HVAC control systems.
• Expert problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and correct complex issues.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for HVAC systems.
• Strong communicator and collaborative team player.
• Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel to various job sites as needed.
• HVAC/BAS certifications are a plus.
