Locum MD (Medical Doctor);DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Emergency Medicine

As a Locum MD/DO in Emergency Medicine, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in urgent need. This position allows you to contribute significantly to the healthcare community while developing your skills and enhancing your medical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
- Assess and diagnose a wide range of medical conditions
- Perform necessary medical procedures and interventions
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Ensure compliance with all medical protocols and standards
- Participate in ongoing medical education and training
- Assist in managing patient flow and overall efficiency in the emergency department
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current medical license to practice in the state of Florida
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of emergency medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to patient care and safety
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
Schedule: 7p-7a or 10p-7a
Shifts available at multiple facilities
Annual Volume: ~25,000 patients
Support Staff: APPs
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
