Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $19.00 per hour plus 10% shift differentialShift: 3rd shift
Sunday 10:30pm to 7:30am
Monday thru Thursday 11:00pm to 7:30am

What’s a typical day as Quality Control Inspector? You’ll be:
  • Performing visual, mechanical, and functional inspections of plastic, sheet metal parts, sub-assemblies, and various electronic/electro-mechanical components.
  • Ensuring material conformance to customer dimensional and cosmetic requirements.
  • Completing real-time data entry and maintaining accurate quality records.
  • Providing feedback to engineers and supporting data logging in internal database systems.
  • Obtaining and maintaining drawings and procedures from internal systems.
  • Conducting inspections on various production lines as needed.
  • Using IPC-A-610 Standards, visual aids, BOMs, and written procedures for printed circuit board assembly inspection.
  • Directing products for rework and confirming completion.
  • Coordinating documentation for first article requirements and conducting first article inspections.
  • Performing process audits and ensuring compliance with internal documentation and ISO procedures.
  • Maintaining ESD integrity and a clean work area.
  • Participating in training and potentially training other employees.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have an Associate’s Degree in a related field (electronics-focus preferred) and at least 2 years of high-volume inspection experience in a contract-manufacturing environment.
  • Hold IPC-A-600/610/620 Certification.
  • Are familiar with operating a 3D Automated Optical Inspection (3DAOI) machine.
  • Can read and interpret blueprints, detailed drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Understand basic electro-mechanical tools and hand tools (multi-meters, calipers, wrenches, torque drivers).
  • Possess experience using ERP systems and basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, problem-solving, reading comprehension, and communication skills.
  • Are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Have ESD training; ISO 9001 experience is a plus.
  • Are willing to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Meet “US Person” requirements per 22 CFR Part 120.15 (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, etc.) due to work with ITAR-controlled technical data.
