As a Financial Analyst focused on supply chain and finance, you will be responsible for analyzing historical data, market trends, and financial indicators to develop accurate forecasts and models. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support decision-making, optimize inventory levels, and improve supply chain efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, financial principles, and advanced analytical skills.
What you'll do:
- Develop and maintain forecasting models to predict demand patterns, and financial performance in collaboration with Sales and supply chain under the Director of FP&A.
- Analyze historical data, market trends, and external factors to identify potential risks and opportunities for the supply chain and financial performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable forecasting strategies and recommendations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand forecasts, and financial targets, and provide insights to optimize supply chain operations and financial outcomes
- Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess the impact of different variables on supply chain and financial forecasts
- Support the implementation of forecasting tools and systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of forecasting processes
- Prepare and present regular reports and presentations to communicate forecast results, variance analysis, and actionable insights to stakeholders and management
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, finance, business, economics, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in forecasting, demand planning, or supply chain analytics, preferably in a finance-related environment.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, data modeling, and forecasting techniques
- Strong understanding of financial principles and budgeting, with the ability to integrate financial data into supply chain forecasting models.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, and a strong sense of accountability for delivering accurate and timely forecasts.
- Proficiency in Excel, Tableau (or similar BI Tools), and Netsuite
