SR. TAX ACCOUNTANT NEEDED IN BRADENTON, FL
Direct Hire Opportunity
Location: Bradenton, FL
Salary: $80,000-$120,000
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (can flex schedule to 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. if needed)
Duties and responsibilities:
- Prepare complex individual and business tax returns.
- Review all levels of tax returns prepared by others and provide clear review notes.
- Identifies tax issues and opportunities on complex tax returns.
- Uses research tools as appropriate to answer questions during tax planning assignments.
- Collaborate with Managers or Partners to develop innovative tax strategies.
- Provide leadership by training, directing, and supervising junior staff.
- Maintain positive ongoing relationships with clients and their team of advisors.
- Assist in developing innovative solutions for clients and firm.
- Prepares routine correspondence to clients, taxing authority agents, and other third parties as directed.
- Participates in local civic, charitable, business, and other organizations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- CPA or Enrolled Agent active license in Florida a must!
- Master’s Degree preferred
- 2-5 years of recent public accounting experience, specializing in tax
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical skills with detail orientation
- Availability to work overtime during tax season
