Paid Working Student

Equi-Sport is looking for a motivated and hardworking Working Student to join our team!

We are a hunter/jumper program based in Wellington, FL and Hainesport, NJ with a focus on developing horses and riders from the grassroots through the FEI level.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional show barn environment.

This position would be best filled by someone wanting more experience with the show jumping world and care of grand prix level horses. In New Jersey and shows along the east coast (May-October) and Wellington, FL (November-April). Stall and training available as well as stipend. Must be at least 18, have own transport and housing with ability to travel to shows May-October.

Responsibilities may include:• Grooming and horse care• Tacking/untacking• Assisting at home and at horse shows• Lunging/flatting (depending on experience)• General barn organization and daily operations

Ideal candidate:• Positive attitude and strong work ethic• Team player with attention to detail• Prior horse experience required• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment• Willingness to learn and grow within the program.

We are looking to add new team members now.

We are looking to pass a wealth of knowledge to a working student. The position requires a minimum of 5 days per week with flexible hours.

You will recieve guidance with your horse and your own riding, and the oppertunity to travel to all the shows and show your own horse at your cost should you desire to. Will provide great refences to furture employeers.There may also be the oppertunity for the job to become a full paid position within our team.
