Senior Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster - Remote (Florida Licensed)

We are seeking an experienced Bodily Injury Liability Claims Adjuster to join our growing insurance team in a fully remote capacity. This position offers the flexibility of working from home while handling complex bodily injury claims for our Florida-based operations. The ideal candidate will possess a current Florida adjuster license and bring extensive experience in claims management, negotiation, and customer service to our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and adjust complex bodily injury liability claims in accordance with policy provisions and state regulations
• Conduct thorough interviews with claimants, witnesses, insureds, and medical providers to gather comprehensive claim information
• Analyze medical records, bills, and documentation to determine claim value and liability exposure
• Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and third parties to achieve fair and cost-effective claim resolutions
• Prepare detailed claim reports, correspondence, and documentation using effective written communication skills
• Maintain accurate claim files and ensure compliance with Florida insurance regulations and company best practices
• Collaborate with legal counsel, medical experts, and internal teams on complex liability matters
• Manage claim caseload independently while meeting established quality and performance standards
• Provide exceptional customer service to policyholders, claimants, and stakeholders throughout the claims process

Required Qualifications

• Current Florida Adjuster License (6-20 All Lines) - Required
• Minimum of 8 years of claims handling experience with demonstrated focus on bodily injury claims
• Proven knowledge and application of claims best practices and industry standards
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills for evaluating liability and damages
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for report preparation, interviews, and negotiations
• Proficient negotiation abilities with a track record of successful claim settlements
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively as part of a team
• Strong customer service orientation with professional interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills highly preferred to serve our diverse claimant population
• Experience with Florida personal injury protection (PIP) and no-fault insurance laws
• Professional claims designations (AIC, CPCU, or similar)
