Schedule: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 2600 BRUCE B DOWNS BLVD City: WESLEY CHAPEL State: Florida Postal Code: 33544 Job Description: Sign on bonus $10,000 *For Eligible Candidates Relocation Assistance up to $10,000 *For Eligible Candidates Shift: 12p-12a * Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs. * Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses. * Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols. * Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. * Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care. * Document patient care activities, including assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes, accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR). * Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies. * Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes. * Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care. * Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to infection control policies and safety protocols. * Respond promptly to life-threatening situations using established protocols and critical care skills. The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

· Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science degree upon hire
· Six months of hospital nursing experience upon hire  OR successful completion of the AHWC Graduate Nurse Training Program
·  Active Florida RN or APRN license required upon hire.
· Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or RQI upon hire and then renewed quarterly following RQI protocols
· Current American Heart Association Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification or RQI upon hire and then renewed quarterly following RQI protocols
· Current NIHSS Certification upon hire.
·8 hours Stroke Education within 6 months of hire date, then annually.
·8 hours Hip & Knee Replacement / Spine Education within 6 months of hire date, then annually.
·AVADE Education within 90 days of hire date.
