Position: Accounts Payable Specialist II

Location: Orlando, FL (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $23 - $26 / Hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable III professional to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in high-volume accounts payable environments, particularly in large companies or healthcare settings . You will be responsible for managing complex vendor interactions, resolving escalated issues, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and statements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and review high-volume vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Manage credit holds and work with vendors to resolve any discrepancies.
• Reconcile vendor statements efficiently to maintain accurate accounts.
• Handle higher-level escalation calls with vendors to resolve payment or account issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and compliance.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to generate reports, track payments, and streamline AP processes.
• Maintain accurate AP records and assist with month-end closing activities as needed.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a large company or healthcare environment.
• Proficiency with advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve escalated vendor issues.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
