**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed response protocols as required.
+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized access and promptly report any unusual activity.
+ Prepare and submit detailed incident reports and logs according to Allied Universal procedures.
+ Collaborate with healthcare staff and law enforcement personnel when necessary to address security-related concerns.
+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to provide reassurance and help to deter disruptive behavior.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
+ Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
+ Possess an armed guard card or license.
+ Possess a corrections officer license.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
