Procurement Analyst
Client: Utilities Company
Position: Procurement Analyst
Term: March 2026 - March 2027 - 1 year contract
Pay: $45/Hr - $48/Hr
Location: Tampa, FL
Work Authorization: USC or GC ONLY no other Visas supported
Scope: Provide analytical and administrative support for category management and sourcing activities. Assist in preparing sourcing events, analyzing supplier proposals, and maintaining accurate procurement data.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field
Certification Preferred: CPSM, CIPS, or working toward certification
Experience:
• 3 years of procurement or supply chain experience
• Preferred experience with eSourcing tools like SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, and Jaggaer
• Analytical and Excel skills, familiarity with ERP systems, detail-oriented, organizational and communication skills
• Basic understanding of procurement regulations and contract terms
Responsibilities:
• Collect and analyze spend data, supplier metrics, market trends
• Prepare reports and dashboards
• Assist in drafting RFQs/RFPs and bid packages
• Maintain contract records and process amendments
• Support day-to-day supplier communication
• Verify supplier compliance and maintain audit-ready documentation
• Identify opportunities to streamline data management and reporting
• Escalate complex problems to Category Specialist or Manager
