Director of Human Resources and Facilities

:

• Seek the Lord in all you do, ask Him for guidance and seek His wisdom in all areas and decisions with the job
• Oversee, develop, and manage the onboarding process of new employees and the software package
• Prepare and maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
• Schedule and conduct new employee orientations.
• Maintain and update human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks and directories, and performance evaluation forms.
• Confer with management to develop or implement personnel policies or procedures.
• Select and communicate with qualified job applicants or refer them to managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate.
• Perform searches for qualified job candidates, using sources such as computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, media advertisements, job fairs, recruiting firms, or employee referrals
• Update and keep current the HR Storage portal for all employees and their information
• Communicate and keep staff current on compliance, open enrollment, benefit information
• Screen, recruit, interview possible candidates for individual departments, working closely with department heads
• Conduct initial phone screenings of possible employee applicant(s).
• Develop individual questions for interviewing based on what types of abilities are needed
• Check references on all new employees when requested
• Keep handbook and policies updated
• Maintain, complete, and finalize all commercial insurance annual renewals, applications, communications and issues
• Manage health care annual enrollments and ancillary benefit enrollments
• Arrange for outside vendors to meet with employees to inform them of optional benefit choices
• Research health insurance rates and benefits annually
• Oversee the updates to Emergency Procedures for all employees
• Maintain the emergency alert system
• Use Benefit Resources/Broker as a consultant for any needed information or changes to policies, procedures and insurance
• Oversee the facility management of all buildings including but not limited to: lighting, paint, roofing, landscaping, carpets, cleaning, phones, offices, bathroom, kitchen supplies, etc.
• Work with department heads on ongoing in-house projects including but not limited to, website management, supplies, roofing, pricing, signage, phone and internet issues and purchases, disaster assistance/FEMA issues, technical and data management, building key(s) check in and assignment
• Assist events and finance departments with finances during walk for life and annual benefit dinners
• Entrepreneurial team player who can multitask.
• Self-reliant, excellent problem solver, results oriented, energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive
• Bachelor's Degree preferred in related area
• 1-3 years of progressive experience and responsibility in a project related field
• Excellent communication and people skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
