SmartShield Homes has an immediate opening for a Smart Home and Security Specialist in one of Florida’s largest A/V companies. Join a company that provides continuous training with a focus on career growth in the fast-moving, ever-changing world of A/V, networking, and smart home electronics. Work with leading-edge brands such as Control4, Lutron, Alarm.com, Sony, and B & W.

Responsibilities :

• Knowledge of low voltage wiring and trim
• Follow wiring prints or diagrams
• Install and activate residential and light commercial wireless security systems and smart home products
• Offer for sale additional products and services to homeowner
• Properly demonstrate the system to a client and obtain sign-off for training and/or service completion
• Installation of speakers, cameras, NVRs, TVs, and Wireless Audio systems
• Provide prompt, courteous, and excellent customer service
• Attention to project timeline and scheduling impact

Requirements :

• High School Diploma or GED
• FASA/BASA Certification a plus
• Problem and troubleshooting skills
• Positive and professional attitude with a focus on quality and team success
• Availability for on-call/after-hours support (compensated accordingly)
• Applicant must have a valid Florida driver’s license and clean driving record
• Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a drug/alcohol screening background check
