Donation Station Attendant

We are looking for friendly, energetic Donation Station Attendants who will exceed donor expectations by providing exceptional service. In this position, you will ensure every donor has a positive experience. As a full-time Donation Station Attendant, you will enjoy paid time off, healthcare benefits and more! Hours are Mon-Fri 8am-4pm. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet donors; deliver courteous and respectful service
• Assist with receiving and recording donations
• Safeguard donations until collected
• Maintain a clean and organized donation site
• Confirm that trailer has appropriate supplies
• Place any flags, banners, balloons or signage in visible, attractive manner
• Become knowledgeable of charity's purpose

Qualifications:

• Open availability to work weekdays, and at least one weekend day
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Planning and organizational skills
• Ability to stand 6-8 hours per day, bending frequently
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds regularly
• Good communication skills, oral and written
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Able to establish relationships with peers, internal and external customers

Education, Experience, Training Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent; or a combination of education and experience that yields the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• High level of diplomacy and interpersonal skills.
