Traffic Signal Tech

As a Traffic Signal Technician, you will play a vital role in a collaborative team, working hands-on to install, maintain, and repair traffic signal systems and related infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair traffic signal systems and related infrastructure across Central Florida.
• Program, troubleshoot, and service traffic signal control units and associated components.
• Program, maintain, and repair flashing school zone sign controls.
• Install and maintain communication systems, including radio, fiber optics, and twisted pair connections.
• Collaborate with team members on utility projects involving signalized intersections.
• Manage inventory of traffic signal and electrical supplies in coordination with project managers and job superintendents.
• Program and maintain advanced loop systems, including Bluetooth, infrared, traditional loops, and radio-based systems.
• Operate a company vehicle to inspect and support traffic signal installations and related projects.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and project progress.

Qualifications

• IMSA Traffic Signal Technician Level 2 certification required.
• CDL Class A or B License required.
