Position Summary: The Perinatal Sonographer III demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills in the management of diagnostic testing. Demonstrates focused critical thinking, integrates multi-system implications and provides anticipatory observation and management for predictable events. Demonstrates interdisciplinary collaboration and an outcome-oriented approach to care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved diagnostic medical sonography program with a minimum of five years’ experience; additional clinical experience or credentials may be considered in lieu of some education.
- Specialty registry through ARDMS or CCI
- 5+ years of experience as a Sonographer. Perinatal Sonography experience is required.
- Dual registries preferred (ex. Fetal Echo, Pediatric Echocardiography, Nuchal Translucency, Advanced Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Adult Echo)
- Current BLS certification, AHA
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Shift : Full-Time (40 hours per week), Day Shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00PM. No weekend or holiday work.
***This position is located at the West Manatee Health Center in Bradenton, FL (4 days per week) and 1 day per week at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital main campus.
Salary Range: Minimum 36.52/hour - Maximum 58.44/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
