About the Role

We are seeking a versatile Mid-Level .NET Developer to join our engineering team on-site. You will work directly with our Senior Developer to maintain our core platform and assist in our strategic migration from .NET Framework 4.7.2 to .NET 10 .

This is a hands-on, full-stack role. You must be comfortable working within a codebase that utilizes both ASP.NET MVC and WebForms , while possessing the mindset to help us improve the system for the future.

Responsibilities

• Application Maintenance: Support, debug, and enhance existing applications built on .NET Framework 4.7.2 , navigating both MVC and WebForms environments.
• Full-Stack Development: Since we do not have a separate front-end team, you will implement and modify UI features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Mobile UX Optimization: Refactor and optimize existing user interfaces to ensure a seamless experience for customers accessing our platform via mobile devices.
• Database Support: Write efficient SQL queries to support application logic and assist with data integrity.
• Modernization Support: Assist in isolating logic and preparing our code for the upcoming transition to modern .NET standards.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of professional development experience in the Microsoft stack (C#).
• Web Frameworks: Familiarity with ASP.NET WebForms and ASP.NET MVC . You should be comfortable navigating legacy web pages.
• Database Skills: Solid understanding of SQL Server ; ability to write joins and basic queries.
• Front-End Fundamentals: Strong command of HTML and CSS, with the ability to ensure layouts work well on mobile screens.
• Problem Solving: Ability to trace bugs through existing code and implement fixes that do not break other parts of the system.

Nice to Haves

• SSIS: Experience creating or modifying SSIS packages.
• Modern .NET: Interest in .NET 8/10 and modern architecture, as you will have the opportunity to learn from the team during our migration.
