Principal Product Manager
At UVeye, we're on a mission to redefine vehicle safety and reliability on a global scale. Founded in 2016, we pioneered the world's first fully automated suite of vehicle inspection systems. At the heart of this innovation lies our advanced AI-centric technology, representing the pinnacle of computer vision, machine learning, and generative AI within the automotive sector.
With over $380M in funding and strategic partnerships with industry giants such as Toyota, Amazon, General Motors, Volvo, and Hertz, our technology is utilized in manufacturing plants, dealerships, wholesale auctions, delivery fleets, seaports, and more. Our growing global team of 250+ employees is committed to creating a workplace that celebrates diversity, encourages teamwork, and strives for excellence.
We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to drive the evolution of our AI-enabled product suite from initial concept to global scale. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role designed for a customer-obsessed leader who balances long-term strategic vision with a "builder" mindset.
In this role, you won't just define the roadmap—you will be at the front lines, actively building, prototyping, and validating product bets. Working at the intersection of customer insights and emerging technology, you will partner closely with engineering, design, and executive leadership to transform complex technical challenges into scalable, real-world solutions.
If you thrive in high-velocity environments and possess the technical fluency to leverage AI-assisted workflows and rapid iteration, you will play a defining role in shaping our automotive technology and influencing our product organization’s future.
A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:
- Hands-On Innovation & Technical Solutions: This is a high-autonomy, execution-focused role where you will build robust MVPs from the ground up, leveraging AI-assisted development workflows (LLMs, Copilot) and modern tech stacks to rapidly validate complex hypotheses and define the technical roadmap.
- As a senior leader, you will align engineering, design, and GTM teams around a shared vision, driving confident decision-making through credibility and strong communication rather than formal authority.
- Own Product Direction End-to-End: You will drive product strategy from discovery to delivery, identifying high-impact problems and defining strategic product bets that align long-term vision with short-term execution.
- Strategic Executive Partnership: You will collaborate directly with C-level leadership to shape company strategy, pitch new initiatives, and connect technical depth with business outcomes to influence investment decisions.
- Champion the Customer & Market: You will serve as the "voice of the customer," leveraging direct feedback, usage data, and industry research to anticipate future needs and translate them into differentiated, technology-forward solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years proven experience in Product Management and R&D, with a track record of driving products from initial MVP to scaled market adoption in high-growth ecosystems.
- Deep technical fluency with a hands-on approach to modern development, including: Modern IDEs & Tools: Proficient with Visual Studio Code and Cursor.
- Expert-level use of LLM-based coding agents and AI-assisted development to accelerate prototyping.
- AI-Native Workflows: Full-Stack Fundamentals: Strong grasp of both Backend and Frontend architecture to guide technical decision-making.
- Advanced experience in product discovery workflows and UX design principles, ensuring a seamless bridge between complex technology and user-centric value.
- Revenue-Driven Mindset: Demonstrated ability to translate product features and platform capabilities into measurable business impact and revenue growth.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, influencing engineers, executives, and external partners without formal authority.
- A high-autonomy "owner" mindset, comfortable leading through ambiguity and taking full accountability for end-to-end outcomes.
- Experience building and scaling products from the ground up in startup or high-growth environments.
- Experience working in the automotive industry or adjacent, highly technical domains.
- Competitive Medical, Dental, Vision.
- Company 401k Match.
- 20 PTO days, Company paid holidays.
- Career growth as we scale across the US.
- Pioneer Advanced Solutions: Harness cutting-edge technologies in AI, machine learning, and computer vision to revolutionize vehicle inspections.
- Drive Global Impact: Your innovations will play a crucial role in enhancing automotive safety and reliability, impacting lives and businesses on an international scale.
- Career Growth Opportunities: Participate in a journey of rapid development, surrounded by groundbreaking advancements and strategic industry partnerships.
