Service Greeter
Bring your friendly disposition and smile with you to work as a Service Greeter for Capital Mercedes-Benz! As part of the Crown Automotive Group Team, you’ll be performing a variety of duties as assigned in a support capacity for our Service Department and customers. Customer Service experience is a PLUS, but not necessary. Your overall willingness to assist the Crown service team AND our customers is #1! This could be the start of a GREAT, LONG-TERM career with Crown Automotive Group as we prefer to promote from within. MANY of our current General Managers started in a similar way! - Escort customers to appropriate, Service Advisor, waiting area or Parts/ Service Dept. as needed.
- Verify appointment details
- Prioritize customers waiting to have their repair order written
- Greet customers returning to pick up their vehicles
- Ensure coffee and refreshments are stocked
- Keep the customer lounge area neat, clean, and orderly
- Periodically, check tidiness of areas including restrooms
- Run errands, pick up or deliver customers, etc.
- Keep service drive clear by parking cars (once repair order has been written) in appropriate areas and placing keys on board in tool room.
- Develop and maintain a high level of cooperation with your co-workers.
- Communicate areas needing improvement to the Service Manager.
- Complete all directives of your Service Manager.
- “Seize the Moment” and provide excellent customer service at every opportunity.
- Attend department meetings as requested.
- Report any safety issues immediately to management.
- Comply with all policies as described in the “Crown Employee Handbook.”
- Other duties may be assigned, based on company needs.
- Ability to interpret instructions in all forms (written, verbal, diagram or schedule format)
- Ability to drive Automatic AND Standard Cars is preferred
- Current and CLEAN State Driver's license (min of three years)
- Ability to meet U.S. employment and Crown's eligibility requirements (Background Check/Drug Screen)
- Professional appearance and pleasant demeanor at all times with an ease in communicating with our customers and co-workers
