Part-Time Receiving Associate

DeRomo’s Gourmet Market & Restaurant in Bonita Springs is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Part-Time Receiving Associate to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the flow of inventory and ensuring accuracy across departments. Position Summary:

The Receiving Associate is responsible for unloading and verifying incoming deliveries, checking all shipments against purchase orders, and organizing stock according to company standards. This position also assists in maintaining cleanliness and safety across storage areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect all incoming goods; verify items against invoices and purchase orders
• Notify the appropriate department of any discrepancies or missing items
• Sign, date, and time-stamp delivery paperwork accurately
• Rotate and label stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste
• Keep refrigerators, freezers, and storerooms clean and organized
• Safely transport and handle heavy goods as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; strong basic math skills required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality receiving or purchasing preferred
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation standards
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Schedule & Compensation:

• Part-time position
• Typical shift: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM, with flexible scheduling options
