Educational Requirements:   ~ BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum Previous Experience Required:   ~3 years CAD experience. Job Description:  Designs and drafts tools, fixtures and parts. Position responsibilities and authority:  Cable and Harness Applications for Aerospace and DoD. Design potting and encapsulation molds. Design assembly fixtures. Potting and molding processes. Design and drafting of mechanical parts using CAD software. Support production operations. Provide design and fabrication estimates for tooling. Write manufacturing process procedures. Calculate labor and materials for competitive bidding. Other duties as may be assigned. Preferred Skills:  Knowledge of various military connector applications. Proficient using MS Office applications. Strong written and verbal communication. Familiarity with 2D and 3D modeling software. CNC experience a plus.  *On the job training available.
