At the Goddard School, our curriculum is play-based preschool education. As a teacher your job
duties will include, but not be limited to:
• teaching basic skills such as colors, letter and number recognition, shapes, social skills
and personal hygiene utilizing the methods of the Goddard School;
• developing activities that are fun and encourage learning basic skills;
• managing classroom activities including lesson plans, imaginative play, bathroom breaks,
meals and rest times;
• monitoring and gently correcting classroom behavior;
• communicating with parents about their child’s development and classroom activities;
• following all School policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations;
• efficiently utilizing school resources.
