MIG Welder

Job Description

As a MIG Welder, you will work with schematics to assemble and weld parts using MIG welding techniques on steel.

This role requires welding in all structural positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel structures according to schematics.
• Read and interpret tape measures for accurate measurements.
• Adjust the heat and speed settings on welding machines to ensure optimal weld quality.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding, particularly steel on steel.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Competency in using a tape measure.
• Experience with adjusting welding machine settings.
• Familiarity with other machinery such as drill presses and iron workers.

Shift and Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled, which means it can get hot during the summer months.

Expect to get dirty and greasy due to the nature of the parts being handled.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
