The Royal Caribbean Group’s Global Information Security Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Manager, Identity & Access Management reporting to the Director, Identity & Access Management .
The position is onsite and based in Miami, Florida.
The position is also not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Manager to lead our workforce identity program for a large-scale enterprise environment. This role combines technical depth in IAM implementation with strong leadership and managerial expertise . The IAM Manager will oversee a team of engineers and administrators responsible for ensuring compliance, automating provisioning processes, and driving innovation in identity services through advanced technologies, including AI-powered capabilities .
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of IAM engineers and administrators to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient identity services for the workforce.
- Own and drive the implementation, optimization, and automation of identity lifecycle processes, including provisioning, de-provisioning, role management, and access reviews.
- Ensure ongoing SOX compliance and alignment with regulatory requirements and corporate security policies.
- Partner with audit, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure access policies are enforced, monitored, and auditable.
- Define and execute a strategy for modernizing IAM capabilities , with a strong focus on automation, self-service, and AI-driven solutions .
- Manage the design, deployment, and operation of the technical IAM platforms to ensure observability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Oversee the integration of IAM with HR systems, directories, and enterprise applications to support seamless workforce identity flows.
- Develop and maintain metrics and reporting to track compliance, efficiency, and operational health of IAM services.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on IAM technologies, advising leadership on emerging trends, security threats, and innovative solutions.
- Collaborate across IT, Security, and business teams to improve user experience while maintaining strong security controls.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Identity & Access Management , including deep implementation expertise across large enterprise environments.
- 5+ years of experience managing IAM teams , including engineers and administrators.
- Proven expertise with workforce IAM platforms and tools (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, SailPoint IdentityNow/IdentityIQ, Okta, Ping Identity, or equivalent).
- Strong technical knowledge of provisioning, RBAC/ABAC, SSO, MFA, directory services, and federation protocols (OIDC, SAML, SCIM, OAuth2).
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing automation workflows for identity lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with SOX controls, audit frameworks, and compliance-driven IAM practices .
- Experience leveraging AI/ML capabilities for fraud detection, access risk analysis, and identity intelligence is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with IAM scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, APIs).
- Knowledge of cloud identity architectures and hybrid environments.
- Familiarity with privileged access management (PAM) and integration with IAM solutions.
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles and their application in workforce IAM.
