JOB SUMMARY:
This is a Registration and Account Specialist - Revenue Specialist III position in the General Tax Administration Program’s Account Management Process, Specialties Unit. The incumbent possesses extensive knowledge of Florida tax laws for registration purposes and conducts in-depth research and analysis of tax information filed with the Florida Department of Revenue. The incumbent is responsible for researching and evaluating tax documents and information that have been submitted for tax purposes, communicating with taxpayers and their representatives, as well as service centers and other agency personnel, and resolving account maintenance issues.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
- Six months of experience researching and resolving account issues in the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX).
SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $3,599.98 monthly/$43,199.76 annually.
