Staff Psychiatrist Inpatient & Nursing Facility Rounds
West Palm Beach, Florida | Onsite | Flexible Schedule
AIMergency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Psychiatrist to join our growing behavioral health team serving inpatient hospitals and nursing facilities throughout the West Palm Beach region.
This opportunity is ideal for a psychiatrist who values flexibility, autonomy, and collaborative patient care while making a meaningful impact within underserved and complex patient populations.
Position Overview
The Staff Psychiatrist will conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, follow-up visits, and treatment coordination across multiple inpatient and nursing facility settings approximately 34 days per week.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychiatric rounds in inpatient and skilled nursing facilities
Perform psychiatric evaluations and medication management
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, social work, and primary care providers
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Participate in treatment planning and discharge coordination
Build strong clinical relationships with facility staff and patients
Qualifications
MD or DO with Psychiatry residency training
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Active Florida Medical License or ability to obtain
DEA license preferred
Experience in inpatient psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, or consult-liaison psychiatry preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently across multiple facilities
