This key role will involve managing and executing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of advanced smart home systems while ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the installation, integration, and commissioning of smart home automation systems, custom cinema rooms, lighting and shading systems, security and access control, high performance audio, and related technologies.
• Manage and coordinate field technicians to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to develop detailed installation plans and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, builders, and clients to ensure smooth communication and seamless system integration.
• Provide technical training and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices, fostering professional growth and team development.
• Perform routine maintenance, system upgrades, and troubleshooting services to maintain optimal performance and client satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including installation records, system configurations, and service reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a lead technician or senior-level installer in smart home automation, audio-visual systems, or related fields.
• Strong technical knowledge of home automation systems, AV equipment, lighting control, security systems, networking, and IT infrastructure.
• Experience working with control systems such as Crestron, Control4, Savant, or similar platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges on-site.
• Outstanding leadership and team management capabilities with a focus on quality assurance and safety standards.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, project teams, and vendors.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work at various residential sites, including new construction and renovation projects.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as required to meet project deadlines and client needs.
