PACS Administrator

IDR is seeking a PACS Administrator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Palm Beach, FL. This role involves supporting enterprise medical imaging systems during a significant PACS transition, with a focus on application support, troubleshooting, and customer service within a clinical setting. The organization specializes in healthcare technology solutions and is committed to enhancing diagnostic imaging workflows.

Position Overview for the PACS Administrator:

• Provide direct support for radiology PACS systems during enterprise transition from Change Healthcare/Optum to Sectra.
• Assist radiologists and clinical staff with application support, system configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Onsite presence required to support multiple hospitals and imaging sites in the local area.
• Collaborate with vendors, IT teams, and clinical staff to resolve system issues efficiently.
• Ensure smooth migration and implementation of cloud-based PACS solutions with a customer-focused approach.

Requirements for the PACS Administrator:

• 3+ years of experience imaging system admin with hands-on support of enterprise radiology PACS environments.
• 3+ years of experience administering enterprise radiology PACS environments, including system configuration, image routing, troubleshooting, and image quality issue resolution.
• Proven ability to collaborate directly with clinical staff, vendors, and internal IT teams to resolve application issues.
• Hands-on experience supporting radiology reporting platforms such as PowerScribe 360 (preferred).
• Experience supporting or implementing cloud-based PACS solutions such as Sectra (preferred).
