Machine Operator

Were hiring for a long-term Machine Operator - this project expected to continue through May 2027.

The position offers $18/hour, Monday through Friday, day shift hours, with start times between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM, totaling 40 hours per week.

• Set up Machines (calibration, cleaning)
• Control and adjust machine settings
• Feed raw materials to machines
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift
• Check output to spot non-conforming finished goods
• Keep records of approved and defective units
• Must be a self-starter

Responsibilities:
The Machine Operator Technician will be expected to have more mechanical ability and experience, able to do preventative maintenance, and minor repairs/trouble shooting/critical thinking skills. More of a self-starter, motivated to learn, and be a leader.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machines during daily production.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Inspect output for quality and document approved and defective units.
- Maintain safe, clean, and efficient machine operation throughout the shift.

- 3 to 5 years of machine operation or related manufacturing experience preferred based on role level.
- Mechanical ability with experience performing minor repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
- Ability to calibrate, clean, adjust, and monitor production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify non-conforming finished goods.
- Ability to keep accurate production and quality records.
- Self-starter with strong critical thinking skills and motivation to learn.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a production environment.
- Leadership potential and willingness to take initiative on the production floor.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Machine Operator Technician in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience supporting continuous production, quality control, or equipment maintenance processes.
- Ability to help guide team members and contribute to a positive, productive work environment.
