Shipping Receiving Operator

We are seeking an experienced Shipping amp; Receiving Operator to support daily warehouse operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks, move products throughout the warehouse, verify inventory accuracy, and ensure all shipments meet quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

KEY DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport products.
• Follow computerized or printed work orders to determine product quantities and destinations.
• Locate, verify, and stage materials for shipment or storage.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, accuracy, and quality compliance.
• Document product movement and inventory counts using RF (Radio Frequency) scanning equipment.
• Properly label, pack, and seal pallets or containers for shipment.
• Report discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors or leads immediately.
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness at the end of each shift.
• Perform additional duties related to shipping, receiving, or material handling as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS amp; REQUIREMENTS

• At least one year of proven experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Forklift certification and/or experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, labels, and RF data accurately.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs or more depending on facility requirements.
• Ability to work in environments ranging from freezer storage (-20°F) to dry storage (up to 100°F).
• Must follow all safety protocols and communicate effectively with team members.
• Flexible schedule availability including weekends or overtime when needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT amp; CONDITIONS

• Warehouse setting with variable temperatures depending on the storage area.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and cold-storage gear provided by employer.
• Standing, bending, lifting, and operating machinery for extended periods required.
• Moderate to loud noise levels expected during daily operations.
