As a **Security Guard - Armed Government Patrol Full Time** in **Homestead, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas while remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
+ Monitor and report suspicious behavior and/or activities within the location.
+ Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate with Allied Universal management regarding any security-related concerns.
+ Assist law enforcement and first responders as directed during emergency events.
+ Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs as required by the location.
+ Follow all post orders and instructions specific to the armed patrol assignment.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
+ An armed guard card or license is required.
+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
