- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and fixing issues with building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC), equipment, and structures.
- Preventive Maintenance: Performing regular maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance of equipment and systems.
- Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Maintaining and repairing machinery, mechanical equipment, and building systems.
- General Maintenance: Performing tasks such as painting, minor carpentry, and other general repairs.
- Safety Compliance: Ensuring that the facility adheres to safety regulations and protocols.
- Vendor Coordination: Working with external contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Documentation: Keeping records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable working with hand and power tools.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environments.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with other technicians, supervisors, and vendors.
- Safety Awareness: Understanding and adherence to safety procedures and regulations.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.
