Referral Coordinator

Ensuring all patient insurances are verified and all authorizations are properly obtained prior to the patient visit.

• *The referral coordinator will be well versed in all payer specific insurance verification and authorization rules for all providers and services. *Must be detail-oriented and provide additional information to insurance carriers and other clinical providers. *The referral coordinator can communicate effectively with patients, physicians, insurance carriers as effective communication will promote a positive patient experience. *The referral coordinator must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have the time management, organizational, and multitasking skills necessary to perform a variety of duties concurrently. *Team members in this position must consistently demonstrate a positive demeanor, must be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, and must be a team player.

As a Pareto referral coordinator, you will positively impact the 5 areas which are critical to our success such as patient access, patient experience, quality, stewardship and engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma/GED

Medical Assistant or Professional State Certifications (preferred)

Medical Terminology

Knowledge of managed care pre-authorization procedures

Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite and database applications)

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Insurance verification: 1 year (Preferred) *Medical collection: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays. Compensation is $16.00 - $21.00/hour.
