Land Use & Zoning Associate
Locations: Fort Lauderdale OR Miami

Our client, an Am Law 200 full-service law firm, is seeking a mid-to-senior level Land Use & Zoning Associate to join its established Florida practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated development and regulatory matters while advising developers, investors, and property owners on high-profile projects across the region.
What You’ll Work On:
- Advising clients on zoning, land use, and development-related matters
- Handling site plan, entitlement, permitting, and regulatory compliance issues
- Navigating local and state government approval processes
- Providing strategic guidance on development risk and land use positioning
- Working closely with developers, project teams, and governmental agencies
- Supporting complex commercial and mixed-use development projects
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of land use and zoning experience
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience working with permitting, entitlements, and regulatory matters
- Ability to manage matters independently and interact directly with clients
- Strong academic credentials preferred
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active Florida Bar admission required
