Risk Management Specialist

Join our Trade Resolution team as a Risk Mitigation Associate, where you will play a vital role in ensuring market stability and firm compliance. Your daily focus will involve the end-to-end processing of Buy-In notifications via the DTC SmartTracks application and manual email systems to ensure proper trade resolution for both internal and external clients. This role is built for a proactive communicator who can handle constant interaction with contra brokers, trade support teams, and Prime Brokerage clients. We are looking for an individual who can multitask effectively in a high-volume atmosphere while maintaining 100% accuracy in meeting regulatory and clearinghouse deadlines

salary: $38.47 - $38.48 per hour

Responsibilities

• This position will involve various tasks that are used to mitigate firm and client risk across multiple entities and platforms. Primary responsibility is the processing of Buy In notices & executions for trade resolution related to 161, 671, Financing and Clearing, Prime Brokerage and Stock Loan.
• There will be daily interaction via email and phone calls with contra brokers, trade support teams, trading desks, branch offices, Financing and Clearing, Prime Brokerage clients, and other internal Operation areas.
• Daily processing tasks include mitigation of firm risk/exposure by ensuring proper.
• Buy In notices are sent out to contra brokers via DTC SmartTracks application, sending and receiving manual notifications via email as well as sending manual.
• Buy In notifications to internal clients/traders who are short on stock record.
• Associate will be responsible for learning and adhering to FINRA, SEC and other Regulatory Buy In rules.
• Associate will be required to multi task in a high volume, fast paced environment all while meeting regulatory deadlines.
