Sr. Analyst, Accounts Receivable

Come be a part of the Global Accounting Operations team at Discord, where we oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing Operations, Expense and Corporate Credit Cards. This role will be responsible for managing and analyzing Discord’s receivables, ensuring timely collection, maintaining accurate records, and providing essential support to optimize cash flow. Within the Global Accounting Operations Team we pride ourselves on Delivering for Customers everyday which are our internal Discord team members and external Discord customers. We are looking to enhance our Accounts Receivable process within Oracle Fusion, provide an exceptional experience for our customers and meaningful data to our cross functional partner in Sales, Sales Ops and Revenue Accounting.

What you'll be doing

• Invoice Processing: Within Oracle Fusion prepare, issue, and maintain accurate invoices, ensuring they comply with company policies and customer agreements.


• Customer Set Up: Create and maintain customer records in Oracle Fusion.


• Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile customer accounts to ensure all payments and receivables are accurately recorded in the system.


• Collections Management: Monitor outstanding accounts receivable balances and proactively contact customers to collect payments within agreed terms.


• Customer Relations: Address customer inquiries related to billing and payments, resolving disputes professionally and maintaining positive client relationships.


• Process Improvement: Assist in enhancing accounts receivable processes, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting the implementation of efficiency-improving initiatives.


• Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements globally, company policies, and established internal controls.

What you should have

• 4+ years of billing experience within Accounts Receivable


• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel


• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team


• Experience billing global customers


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with internal teams and external customers


• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks to meet all deadlines

Bonus points

• Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP systems is a plus

Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties). Relocation assistance may be available.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $124,000 to $139,500 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity, or benefits.
