- Computer literacy for accurate updating of computer-based inventory systems.
- Excellent understanding of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Be commercially astute and a natural problem solver.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Comfort with handling materials of varying sizes and weights (within safety guidelines) and the ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understand work orders, parts and specifications.
- Ensure all parts are assembled correctly according to the requirements.
- Efficiently manage your time to complete tasks with both accuracy and speed.
- Keep production statuses updated using computer-based manufacturing and inventory software.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies with parts or assembly processes to the relevant team members for resolution.
- Conduct regular stock checks and notify the assembly manager when supplies are low.
