Job Title: MIG Welder
Shift: 1st and 2nd shifts available
1st: 5:00am-3:30pm Mon-Thurs (Often working Fridays and some Saturdays)
2nd: 3:00pm-1:30am Mon-Thurs (Often working Fridays and some Saturdays)
Pay: $20-$25/hr (10% shift differential for 2nd shift)

Job Description
The Shift MIG Welder is responsible for assembling pieces of steel metal, specializing in MIG welding techniques. This role requires proficiency with various welding tools and machines. Daily tasks include set-up, lay-out, and tack-up of various precision frame weldments and brackets, ensuring structures meet tight tolerances. The ability to read complicated prints and weld out precision frames to exact tolerances is essential.
Responsibilities
- Mig weld milled steel and stainless steel.
- Square up and weld various shapes of components.
- Perform welding on both vertical and horizontal planes.
- Tack-up structures to tight tolerances and weld out precision frames.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding.
- Experience working with carbon steel and stainless steel.
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Welding certification is preferred but not required.

Work Environment
Work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility with bay doors open depending on the time of year. The position involves working on the 1st shift from 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays and Saturdays. Candidates may work up to 60-70 hours per week
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
