Desktop Support Technician

Description

TEKsystems is looking for a travelling Field Technician for a national Hardware/ POS Update in the Florida Panhandle.

Duties Include:

Replacing hardware, old equipment, installation and quality checks w/ management.

POS systems, stand alone registers, Software/ Hardware support.

No configurations required.

Tools needed for the project will be:

Torque (Star) bit head screwdriver and Snips.

Hardware, such as, zip ties, velcro straps, will be provided.

Travel/ Mileage will be reimbursement after 1 hr or 50miles one way or 2 hours drivetime/ 100 miles round trip. Travel from site to site- no mileage deduction.

03/18- Panama City, FL

03/19- Fort Walton, FL

03/20- Pensacola, FL

04/08- Panama City, FL

04/09- Fort Walton, FL

04/10- Pensacola, FL

All candidates must be eligible to pass a back ground check.

This is a Contract position based out of Pensacola, FL.

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Pensacola,FL.

This position is anticipated to close on Mar 6, 2026.
