Accounts Payable Specialist
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Tampa, FL. Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable Specialist will manage full-cycle accounts payable processes, including invoice review, coding, data entry, and payment processing
- Handle a very high volume of invoices (5,000+ per month) while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Perform analytical review and research to resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
- As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will prepare clear, professional written communications, including email correspondence with internal teams and external vendors
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and maintain strong working relationships
- 3-5 years of strong, full-cycle accounts payable experience; Candidates with 5+ years of experience will also be considered
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, functions, and formulas
- Strong critical-thinking, analytical, and research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and people skills; Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Salesforce experience is highly preferred but not required
- Construction industry experience is a strong plus, including familiarity with construction draws, invoicing processes, and AIA documentation
