Bilingual Housekeeping Lead (English/Spanish)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bilingual (English/Spanish) Housekeeping Lead to supervise and support daily cleaning operations across multiple areas, including warehouse and office spaces. This role is responsible for maintaining high cleanliness standards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and leading the housekeeping team by example. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and bilingual in English and Spanish to effectively communicate with team members and supervisors.

Approx. $18/hr
Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
(Flexibility required based on business needs)

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning activities including warehouse cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and trash disposal.
• Ensures areas are cared for and inspected according to company standards.
• Protects equipment and ensures there are no inadequacies.
• Notifies supervisors of any damages, deficiencies, or disturbances.
• Handles reasonable complaints or requests with professionalism and patience.
• Monitors inventory levels of consumables related to the area and replaces as needed.
• Adheres to health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Ensures health and safety rules are always followed.
• Plans daily activities with the housekeeping team.
• Conducts quality walk-through inspections of assigned areas.
• Leads by example as a team leader.
• Provides coaching to team members when necessary.
• Ensures cleaning practices are followed in a safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience managing or supervising teams.
• Ability to work with little supervision while maintaining high performance standards.
• Customer-oriented and friendly attitude.
• Strong prioritization and time management skills.
• Ability to work quickly without compromising quality.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, kneel, crawl, bend, squat, crouch, and work in dusty environments for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Typical Work Conditions

• Work areas may include offices, warehouses, production floors, packaging areas, parking lots, and green areas.
• Conditions may include dirty water, dust, excessive noise, wet areas, and high-traffic environments.
