This role requires extensive expertise in a fast-paced acute OR setting, specializing in joint replacement, ortho, spine, and urology surgeries. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Operating Room
- Provide patient care with a focus on surgical procedures such as joint replacement, ENT, and orthopedic surgeries
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate medical records utilizing EMR systems
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Scrub and circulate in a variety of service lines
- Participate in on-call rotation, including nights and weekends
Requirements of the RN - Operating Room
- Active RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of current experience in an acute OR setting
- Experience in ortho, spine, and joint replacement surgeries
- Preferred PALS and CNOR certifications
