Senior Software Engineer I (C++)

WHO YOU ARE:
Senior Software Engineers play a key role in the design, development/configuration, unit testing, installation, and ongoing maintenance of Zinnia’s software platforms. Zinnia Software Engineers work with stakeholders to develop solutions and/or products that fulfill the needs of Zinnia internal stakeholders and clients. Those solutions and/or products help Zinnia and Zinnia clients to be more efficient and provide better service to end customers. Software Engineers interact directly with project leaders, business stakeholders, and may periodically interact directly with Zinnia clients.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Work as part of a global, cross-functional team to develop innovative software for Zinnia stakeholders.
- Contribute to projects by creating well-designed, customized, testable, efficient code for company platforms.
- Assist our teams in providing ongoing support, troubleshooting, improvements, or custom enhancements to existing company platforms.
- Collaborate with our global teams, internal stakeholders and customers.
- Act as a subject matter expert for junior team members.
- Lead in defining the requirements for custom built software projects.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Undergraduate degree in technology, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Ability to develop software in C++, C#, DotNet Core, etc.
- Experience developing with Web technology – Angular 13 +, React, Typescript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, RxJS Operators, Javascript
- Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, etc).
- Demonstrated strategic thinking skills
- Experience developing and deploying in a cloud-native environment
- Working knowledge of common DevOps tasks (Environment provisioning, CI/CD Pipelines, and application monitoring).
- Highly effective communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills. Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work as part of a cross-functional, global team.

The expected salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000, dependent on skills and location. The salary range is a good faith estimate based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations. All offers presented to candidates are carefully reviewed to ensure fair, equitable pay by offering competitive salaries that align with the individual’s skills, education, experience, training, and geographic location and may be above or below the stated amounts.
