Regional Category Planner

Job Summary

We are seeking a Regional Category Planner for a direct hire opportunity in Miami, FL. This role is ideal for a merchandising, category management, or FMCG professional who enjoys working with assortments, product launches, promotions, vendor data, and cross-functional regional teams.

Responsibilities

- Manage assortment listings for novelties, extensions
- Support implementation of innovation programs by tracking orders, coordinating system parameters, and keeping locations informed of upcoming product updates and introductions.
- Maintain assortment reports by location.
- Create and manage promotions, animations.
- Coordinate with country teams, internal stakeholders, and vendors .
- Prepare and share assortment and promotions.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $60,000 to $62,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Location: Miami, FL.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage assortment planning activities, including listings, extensions, delistings, vendor updates, and SKU-level assortment maintenance.
- Support regional product launches, innovation programs, promotional campaigns, and seasonal or tactical commercial initiatives.
- Track assortment and promotion performance through reporting, KPI follow-up, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with country teams, vendors, internal stakeholders, and master data teams to ensure accurate execution.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, category management, merchandise planning, buying, or related commercial functions.
- Experience working with fast-moving consumer goods, retail categories, assortment management, or promotional planning.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review assortment performance, identify gaps, and support data-based decisions.
- Comfortable working with assortment tools, promotion tools, vendor databases, reporting systems, and SKU-level product information.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple product updates, campaigns, deadlines, and stakeholder requests.
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills, with the ability to interact with regional teams, country teams, vendors, and internal departments.
- Detail-oriented approach to data accuracy, assortment governance, item setup, vendor records, and issue resolution.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in travel retail.
- Experience supporting regional or multi-country assortment, category, or promotional programs.
- Background working with global or regional brands.
- Familiarity with assortment management tools, A&P tools, master data processes, and retail promotional calendars.
