Medical Assistant
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Entry level Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team in Miami, FL, 33169. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical staff in delivering high-quality services. Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform routine clinical tasks, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for exams.
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation in electronic health systems.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient follow-ups.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medical office and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
- Assist with billing and insurance verification processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
