Plant Asset Reliability Manager - Consumer Products Manufacturing

KIK products Inc.
Auburndale, FL

Lead Reliability, Safety, and Uptime for a High-Volume Consumer Products Plant

You keep a pulse on the plant from the first shift huddle to the late-day review: walking the line, checking MaintainX for overnight trends, coaching techs through a rapid root-cause session, and confirming parts availability for the next scheduled PM. By afternoon, you’re aligning cross-functional teams on a changeover improvement, closing out an MRO budget update, and advancing a capital project that boosts throughput. Through it all, you’re measuring what matters—safety, reliability, cost, and productivity—and helping the operation deliver on quality and on-time commitments.

Your Impact

  • Own departmental performance tied to safety, quality, cost, and production—meeting or surpassing budget targets.
  • Champion plant-wide productivity initiatives with cross-functional partners across shifts and departments.
  • Build and manage function-specific budgets, including MRO, and ensure smart spend aligned to priorities.
  • Advance Continuous Improvement by deploying a rigorous Maintenance Program focused on waste/cost reduction, productivity gains, and cycle-time reduction using good manufacturing principles.
  • Deliver on operational and maintenance KPIs: delivery, productivity improvement, equipment reliability, parts inventory health, and quality outcomes.
  • Provide daily communication to leadership on safety, quality, schedules, delivery risks, capacity, and staffing.
  • Analyze equipment performance data to surface and act on continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Establish, sustain, and continuously upgrade a PM system that underpins plant productivity.
  • Develop, manage, and execute capital projects from justification through start-up.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate team members—driving adherence to standard work, attendance, safety, and code of conduct while growing technical and interpersonal skills.
  • Facilitate rapid problem solving and root-cause analysis at the line.
  • Hit cost reduction goals, minimize waste, elevate quality, and identify and resolve ergonomic issues.
  • Recognize and control EHS hazards and risks associated with site operations and activities.
  • Create and continuously improve standardized work.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred; High School Diploma required.
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment using lean practices; bottle manufacturing exposure is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of manufacturing plant operations (must include manufacturing industry background).
  • Experience with MaintainX or similar software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; a collaborative team player.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced setting with shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and partner effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with integrated/computerized manufacturing systems; JDE experience is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of EPA regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, with strong Excel skills.
  • Outstanding analytical, investigative, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing or 5S experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Detail orientation with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Work environment: indoor/outdoor industrial setting, not climate controlled. Regular access to areas requiring stairs/ladders, respirator use, and entry into confined spaces. The facility operates 24/7; availability during off-shift times may be required.
