Position Summary
The Business System Analyst plays a pivotal role in optimizing operational efficiency by analyzing and documenting business processes, gathering stakeholder requirements, and translating them into technical specifications. This position is responsible for implementing, supporting, and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics and ERP systems, as well as developing data-driven insights through Power BI. The ideal candidate is an analytical, results-oriented problem solver who excels at bridge-building between business needs and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
System Implementation & Support: Implement, configure, and support Microsoft Dynamics and ERP systems to ensure full alignment with evolving business requirements.
Process Analysis & Requirements Gathering: Collaborate closely with cross-departmental stakeholders to gather, define, and translate complex business needs into clear technical specifications and actionable process improvements.
Reporting & Analytics: Develop, build, and maintain robust Power BI reports and dashboards to deliver actionable data insights to the leadership team and business units.
Testing & Validation: Conduct rigorous system testing, troubleshooting, and validation to ensure the accuracy, functionality, and seamless integration of all implemented solutions.
User Training & Support: Provide dedicated training and technical support to end-users, ensuring high adoption rates, effective system utilization, and minimal operational disruptions.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor system performance, identify root causes of technical challenges, and propose innovative, cost-effective solutions within the parameters of industry best practices.
Qualifications
Technical Expertise: Proven experience working directly with Microsoft Dynamics, enterprise ERP systems, and data visualization tools (specifically Power BI).
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to use a logical, systematic approach to break down complex tasks, evaluate risks/benefits, and analyze industry trends to identify data patterns.
Planning & Organization: Demonstrated track record of creating realistic project schedules, managing resources, prioritizing key action steps, and adjusting plans based on stakeholder feedback.
Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional active listening and communication skills, with a proven ability to keep all stakeholders informed, avoid surprises, and explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Results-Oriented: A strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving project goals on time, without sacrificing quality, even when faced with obstacles or high ambiguity.

Industry Insight: Deep understanding of relevant industry market trends with the ability to propose long-term, strategic system capabilities that outperform standard solutions.
Innovation & Agility: A proactive mindset for personal learning and development, constantly seeking better, faster, or more efficient ways to leverage technology.
Advanced Training: Formal certifications or documented mastery in ERP management, Microsoft Dynamics administration, or advanced data analytics (via LMS or external professional bodies).
