Field Technician
Join PPM Consultants, Inc.
We're looking for a motivated Environmental Technician to join our Orlando, FL team. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a passion for working outdoors.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect air, water, soil, and sediment samples
- Perform soil borings and field surveys
- Operate and maintain environmental remediation systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on-site
- Maintain and calibrate environmental monitoring equipment
- Assist with inspections and compliance activities in industrial settings
- Travel to project sites across Florida (daily); company vehicle provided
Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined; able to work with tools and equipment
- Basic knowledge of environmental science and sampling
- Strong communication and record-keeping skills
- Team-oriented and able to work independently
- Able to lift and carry 50+ lbs
- Prior field tech experience and 40-Hr HAZWOPER a plus (not required)
