Salary: Competitive
West Palm Beach AV rated litigation firm seeking professional, self-motivated legal assistant with commercial, civil, and/or PI litigation skills for at least 2 openings here at the firm. The positions require at least 3 years experience in civil litigation practice. Following are some of the skills we seek.
Skills
- Proven working experience as legal assistant/paralegal
- Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols under State and Federal court systems
- Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations at a law office
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent writing and typing skills
- Ability to draft basic legal forms/documents
- Proficient in calendaring/docketing of court mandated appointments
- Comfortable with communicating with clients on a day to day basis
- Working knowledge of case management software and other basic computer software
- Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to work independently as well as with other team members
- Ability to juggle multiple activities / tasks and have the ability work under pressure
