Training/Education Spec (Part Time)
This contractor role supports the Jacksonville Training Center (Nelson Building) in operating and maintaining a bioskills lab used for ENT surgeon training and R&D/VOC sessions. The role is hands-on with cadaver tissue, equipment setup, and lab operations. Candidates will assist with lab readiness, safety compliance, specimen and instrument management, and support onsite courses and select offsite events. A background as a nurse, scrub tech, or medical education specialist is highly relevant.
Yes. Primarily weekdays, but evenings and weekends will be required based on lab schedule. Hours vary by course/event (typically within 7 AM–6 PM, plus occasional off-hour support). Template JD:
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Plans, develops, and coordinates inhouse product training programs for field support personnel and customers. Obtains information needed to prepare inhouse training programs; prepares training materials, including cadaveric training programs; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids. Ensures training program(s) meets company and customer objectives. Maintains communication with customers to ensure effectiveness of training. May utilize trainers with technical expertise. Must be comfortable working with cadaveric tissue in a bioskills lab environment SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects from design to implementation while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education (typically University). Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.Education update: Requires a University Degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
